1. Head of Product Development

Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Head of Retail, the Head of Product Development will be responsible to:

• Develop new products for the retail banking division on both liabilities and assets sides

• Closely monitor the performance of various retail banking products and services

• Represent retail banking in key initiatives and projects

• Trend spotting across the bank’s products, clients, and competition to ensure ongoing product changes

• Be abreast of various initiative, products launched on the market

• Recognise various customer behaviour patterns across various sectors / markets from time to time in order to better our services/products

Profile

• At least 8 to 10 years of experience in retail banking from a reputable Bank, of which 3 years in a product role

• Degree and/or Masters in Banking or any other professional qualification acceptable to the Bank, from a recognized institution

• Extensive knowledge of retail banking products and services across both liabilities, assets, wealth management both in local as well as international markets

• Good Knowledge of the emerging retail banking trends and future of the industry especially on the digital side of retail banking

 

2. Assistant Company Secretary and Legal Officer

Job Description

Reporting to the Acting Head of Legal and Company Secretary, the Assistant Company Secretary and Legal Officer will be responsible to:

• Ensure Compliance with the Constitution of the Bank

• Plan and organise board / sub-committee meetings of the Bank within reasonable timelines

• Draft the corporate governance report to be included in the Audited Financial statements of the Bank

• Draft contacts, agreements, and other legal documents required in the conduct of business

• Liaise with external legal advisors on specific issues/ projects requiring further legal opinion

• Liaise with external legal advisors in respect to court proceedings, and assist in handling of same

• Organise, provide documents and assist with disciplinary committees as and when required

• Design, develop and implement appropriate policies, procedures and processes to support operational (for e.g. complaints management) and legal matters

Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in the Banking / financial services sector

• Holder of a law degree & ICSA qualified or any other equivalent qualification

• Well developed communication skills and technical abilities necessary to meet business needs and achieve the highest professional standards

• Dynamic, self-motivated, thorough, well-organised and ready to work flexible hours

 

3. Relationship Manager – Leasing

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Leasing, the Relationship Manager – Leasing will be responsible to:

• Introduce and promote the company’s products, ensuring sales and revenue opportunities are maximized, whilst ensuring excellent customer service

• Optimise and qualify leads from a number of incoming sources and ultimately converting them into sales

• Gather, compile and submit detailed business information for underwriting

• Control the quality of the portfolio using available triggers and adherence to Risk Management guidelines and triggers

• Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasts and submit timely reports • Identify and communicate ideas and feedback to assist in the development of revenue driven opportunities for the company

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, or within a competitive sales environment, with a proven track record of target achievement, preferably within a financial services environment

• Hold a Diploma/Degree in Sales and/ or Marketing or any other professional qualification acceptable to the Bank

• Have a confident and outgoing personality with the drive, ambition and determination to close deals and succeed

• Be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment • Have good planning and organisational skills • Have excellent communication, interpersonal & client-facing skills

• Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision • Hold a valid driving licence

3. IT Officer

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of IT Applications, the IT Officer will be responsible to:

• Provide support and maintenance of existing systems

• Provide technical assistance to functional users in daily operations

• Ensure the smooth functioning of the Bank’s Core banking and other applications

• Intervene in case of issues related on the bank’s applications

• Report system malfunctions/issues to software vendor and ensure timely delivery of patches by them

• Ensure thorough testing of patches before movement to production

• Analyze user requirements and prepare specifications documents

• Identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements

• Write technical procedures and documentation for new/existing applications including operations, user guide, etc

• Provide post-implementation training to users

• Develop jasper reports and other reports

Profile

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position

• Degree in IT or any other professional qualification acceptable to the Bank

• Experience in a banking environment is a must

• Previous working experience on Finacle would be an advantage

• Proficient in .Net technologies and C#. Knowledge of MVC 4 framework would be an advantage

• Experience in developing jasper reports, BI reporting and analytics

• Good analytical and problem solving skills

• Good understanding of RDBMS Concepts, Oracle PLSQL, SQL

4. IT Developer

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of IT Applications, the IT Developer will be responsible to:

• Proven knowledge of RDBMS Concepts, Oracle PLSQL, SQL

• Net technologies, Java, JavaScript and C#

• Knowledge of MVC 4 framework would be an advantage

5. HR Officer

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager – HR, the HR Officer will be responsible to:

• Provide support for the day to day general HR administrative tasks

• Schedule interviews, screen CVs and provide assistance to the recruitment team

• Participate in the onboarding process for all newcomers in the company

• Assist in payroll related tasks

• Coordinate HR Projects and internal training sessions

• Recording and handling of staff grievances on a regular basis

• Assist in the Performance Management System used in the company

• Coordinate staff welfare activities

• Responsible for HR related clerical tasks

Profile

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or Psychology, from a recognised institution

• Experience within banking/financial sector would be an advantage

6. Sales Dealer

Reporting to the Senior Manager FX Sales, the Sales Dealer will be responsible to:

• Work closely with the Senior Manager FX Sales to implement the Treasury sales strategy

• Manage one’s Direct Dealing Mandate portfolio of clients and support the team in the management of the other client portfolios where needed, with a view of developing mutually beneficial business opportunities

• Act as a primary point of contact for both internal and external Treasury sales client

• Communicate prices clearly and articulate market views and translate them into trades

• Build an in-depth knowledge of the client by staying abreast of changes within the customers’ business which will create new opportunities to transact

• Keep abreast of market developments and trends and keep clients up to date with current market conditions

• Market all Treasury products to existing and prospective clients • Ensure adherence to internal policies of the Bank as well as external policies from regulators

6. Credit Portfolio Risk

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Credit Portfolio Management Unit), the Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst will be responsible to:

• Review and oversee the portfolio quality by regularly monitoring the behaviour of borrowers that could lead to a deterioration of their credit ratings

• Pro-actively monitor various financial and non-financial triggers for the purpose of identifying early warning signals and for detecting potential deterioration in the credit quality

• Liaise with Business Units and assist in the implementation of action plans as approved by various forums/committees of the Bank

• Assist in the preparation of various credit risk reports

• Apply and implement the credit risk management framework to capture and manage credit risk for the Bank

• Assist in the review of the Credit Risk Policy on a regular basis

• Assist in presentations at various risk committees/forums of the Bank

• Oversee and contribute in various projects

Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ equivalent experience in similar position within the Banking sector

• Degree in Banking, Risk Management, Finance or any other professional qualification acceptable to the Bank

• Well versed in banking regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures

• Excellent planning, organization and problem solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

7. Credit Analyst – Corporate

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Large Corporate, the Credit Analyst – Corporate will be responsible to:

• Provide timely credit reviews to enable the efficient management of portfolios

• Recommend re-payment plans base on financial data

• Complete loan/credit applications or renewals and submit all documentation for approval within the defined timeframes; escalating/involving the loan committee when necessary

• Analyze financial data to determine viability of a request and expected profitability of loans

• Assist in developing and executing analytical initiatives across the credit business unit and produce sound recommendations to increase profitability

• Prepare reports for management in relation to all credit facilities

• Consult with internal customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions relating to credit management

• Assist in monitoring and control duties
