Job Purpose

To assist the Legal Specialist in preparing the drafts and doing the research work in view of operational legal advice, contractual issues and approvals.

Specialised Duties

  • Provide background information, identify case law and reviews and drafts legal opinion on commercial, fnancial, civil and corporate matters related to the Group’s business.
  • Ensure proper communication between Legal Specialist and Group’s legal advisors and/or third parties’ legal advisors.
  • Review and update on a day to day basis legal requests from the different clusters of the Group’s
  • Assist the Legal Specialist in the day-to-day management and on-going development of the Group’s legal requirements.
  • Assist the Legal Specialist in the negotiation, review and drafting of any required agreement pertaining to the Group’s activities.
  • Assist the Legal Specialist in managing robust litigation including handling arbitration, conciliation and commercial settlements,
  • Vet all contracts to ensure that the Company’s interests are protected.
  • Identifying, analyse and communicate new Laws to entities and clusters forming part of the Group
  • Any other cognate duties as required by Reporting Line.

Pre Requisites & Profile

  • Degree in law or law and Management (Preferably from French Universities or the University of Mauritius);
  • 1 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within the Financial Services Sector (will be an advantage);
  • Fully conversant with FSC and other regulatory directives and deadlines (will be an advantage);
  • Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills (Both verbal and written English and French);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong presentation skills;
  • Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex issues clearly and concisely.


Job Purpose

Marketing & Research Analyst

  • Gather, analyse and interpret information from research and build a base for marketing intelligence;
  • Make recommendations and communicate ndings to provide accurate support for both formal and ad hoc presentations, papers, and discussions;
  • Develop insights and best practices to effectively identify market segments for the effective delivery of marketing messages in view of achieving strategic objectives;
  • Develop and maintain data tracking and analysis to report results of the group’s and subsidiaries promotional efforts, client acquisition and retention efforts;
  • Develop, in consultation with other key staff, comprehensive research programs and development planning, evaluation, and management reporting for the purpose of supporting the group’s strategic plan.
  • Gather record and analyse data for all marketing and customers surveys from conception of questionnaires to results presentation;
  • Monitor both competitor, external markets and own business performance including products usage to aid planning and decision making (quantitative and qualitative measures);
  • Coordinate research, planning and evaluation projects with other departments, service providers, and external agencies for the purpose of sharing information, eliminating redundancy, and maintaining a clients’ focus;
  • Participate in a variety of cross-functional meetings (e.g. workshops, committees, seminars, conferences, etc.) for the purpose of conveying and gathering information for the Group;
  • Assist in implementation of data-driven marketing solutions, targeted marketing and improved customer interaction.
  • Measure the effectiveness of programs and campaigns through surveys, mystery shopper and other survey tools;
  • Manage and maintain positive relationships with research partners, suppliers and external sources;
  • Report writing and administrative responsibilities
  • Any other cognate duties as delegated by Management.

Pre Requisites & Profile

  • HSC or an equivalent qualication.
  • Degree in Marketing and/or Communication or any equivalent qualication.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience in a similar position. Experience in the Insurance and/or Financial sector would be an advantage.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Excellent organisational and technical skills.
  • Outgoing Personality and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written English + French).
  • Result Oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Fully conversant with MS Ofce Tools. Experience with CRM tools and programmes would be advantageous.
