Job Title : Manager (on contractual basis for an initial period of two years, renewable on satisfactory performance)

Responsible to : Board of Directors

Qualifications & Experience:

A. Candidates should possess a Degree in either Finance or Business Administration or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Board

B. Candidates should:

(i) possess at least five years’ experience at managerial level;

(ii) be computer literate and use ICT in the performance of his/her duties;

(iii) possess good communication, leadership and organizational skills;

(iv) possess a high degree of professional ethics, integrity and confidentiality and

(v) have initiatives and be able to work in a team.


Candidates should produce proven evidence of knowledge/experience claimed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To be responsible to the Board for the execution of its policies and decisions.

• To advise the Board on policy matters.

• To be responsible for the day to day management of the Society and to establish sound management policies and procedures.

• To develop a Corporate Plan of the Society.

• To assess the existing business cycles and review the whole internal controls.

• To maintain and ensure the integrity of the bookkeeping system.

• To submit Financial Statements, Management Accounts and other reports as required by the Board and legislation.

• To develop, manage and be responsible for the annual budget of the Society.

• To collaborate with the Society’s Attorneys-at-Law, Barristers-at-Law, Legal Advisers and to attend to Courts of law.

• To ensure that the statutory tax returns are filed within set deadlines and facilitate the settlement of tax assessment matters.

• To perform such other duties directly related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the results and output expected from the incumbent in the role ascribed to him/her.
