1. Relationship Manager – SME & Business Banking

Reporting to the Executive Head of SME, the Relationship Manager will be responsible to manage a portfolio of
SME & Business Banking clients with a view of developing mutually beneficial business opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Grow business and revenue in accordance with allocated budget
� Establish new borrowing relationships, prepare the required credit and financial analysis as per the bank’s policies and procedures to enhance the bank’s market share
� Acquire New To Bank (NTB) customers through proactive sales calling based on defined objectives
� Carry out follow ups on excess, arrears and expired facilities as well as take appropriate actions in consultation with the Head of SME
� Monitor company performance against service level agreements and flagging potential issues
� Cross-offer SME solutions as & when appropriate in helping towards improving the bank’s offerings
� Conduct all sales & service activities within the Risk & Compliance parameters as defined from time to time by the bank
� Conduct business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with products and services
� Maintain and improve upon the service delivery to SME customers

PROFILE:
� Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, or within a competitive sales environment, with a proven track record of target achievement, preferably within a financial services environment
� Preferably a graduate in a field acceptable to the bank
� A detailed knowledge of the SME Banking set of products as well as a broad understanding of products available in the Bank
� Sound understanding of Treasury, Trade Finance, and Personal Banking products
� Sound understanding of Credit Administration Process
� A broad understanding of policies and strategies within the country as they relate to the demands of the customer
� A detailed understanding of Regulatory guidelines and credit risk policies
� Sound communication skills and good team spirit

3. Branch Manager – Rodrigues

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Branch Manager will be responsible for managing his/her branch, from
an operational, business and people perspective.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Manage and lead the branch effectively and efficiently
� Manage overall branch operations, credit, marketing, finance and audit
� Develop and implement strategy/plan to capture new clients and market our banking products
� Coach and lead the team in achieving the branch’s objectives
� Ensure full adherence to all bank’s policies and procedures and any other regulatory guidelines at all times

PROFILE:
� Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in banking within a similar position
� Ready to live and work in Rodrigues
� Proven track record in the management of a branch both in terms of figures and people
� Strong sales and business acumen
� Holds a Diploma/Degree in Business/Banking/Finance from a recognized university or an alternative qualification relevant to the scope of work, acceptable to the Bank
� Knowledge of Finacle and bank products would be an advantage
� Excellent oral and written communication skills

4. Credit Analyst – Retail

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Credit Underwriting, the Credit Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and
reviewing proposals from the sales team and give recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

� Provide timely credit reviews to enable the efficient management of portfolios
� Recommend re-payment plans based on financial data
� Complete loan/credit applications or renewals and submit all documentation for approval within the defined timeframes; escalating/involving the loan committee when necessary
� Analyze financial data to determine viability of a request and expected profitability of loans
� Assist in developing and executing analytical initiatives across the credit business unit and produce sound recommendations to increase profitability
� Prepare reports for management in relation to all credit facilities
� Consult with internal customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions relating to credit management
� Assist in monitoring and control duties

PROFILE:
� At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in similar field, preferably within retail banking
� Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or any other professional qualification acceptable to the bank
� Well versed with banking regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures
� Strong numerical reasoning ability and analytical skills
� Excellent planning, organization and problem solving skills
� A good knowledge of banking operations
� Experience in Commercial and large Corporate Banking
� Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
� Strong knowledge of MS office tools and banking systems
� Have a high degree of integrity and confidentiality

5. Senior Manager – Credit Underwriting

Reporting to the Head of Department, the Senior Manager, Credit Underwriting, will manage the overall daily operations of credit underwriting process including credit underwriting and managing credit related matters to ensure alignment with Company’s credit underwriting standards, policies, guidelines, principles and best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Interpret and implement company underwriting guideline and policies for the underwriting team
� Ensure that the underwriting team complies with the company guideline, policies and deadline
� Develop policies that meet the needs of various stakeholders
� Maintain knowledge on current and emerging trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
� Provide timely credit reviews to enable the efficient management of portfolios
� Review loan/credit applications or renewals and submit all documentation for approval within the defined timeframes; escalating/involving the loan committee when necessary
� Provides training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments, for team members

PROFILE:
� At least 8 years’ experience in credit underwriting, preferably within banking sector, of which, at least 3 years’ within a management position
� Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or any other professional qualification acceptable to the Bank
� Well versed with banking regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures
� Strong numerical reasoning ability and analytic skills
� Excellent planning, organization and problem solving skills
� A good knowledge of banking operations
� Experience in SME, Commercial and Large Corporate Banking
� Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
� Strong leadership skills

6. Operational Risk Manager

Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk, the Operational Risk Manager will be responsible for managing operational risk across the bank through the Operational Risk Framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Review the bank’s operational risk events as reported in the bank’s Operational Risk Loss Database
� Perform independent analysis on risk exposures and Root Cause Analysis of risk events
� Use Risk Control and Self-Assessment (RCSA) as a tool to assist and facilitate Business Units in identifying, measuring, controlling and reporting Operational Risk
� Review the RCSA as submitted by Business Units to discuss findings and provide independent opinion on the risk mitigants and the Residual Risk
� Identify any control failures and provide recommendations on fixation of risk issues
� Assist in the development, maintenance and review of the Risk Register of the bank
� Prepare Operational Risk reports for submission to risk committee and to the regulatory body
� Act as a facilitator/coach for training Operational Risk Business Coordinators
� Work with Business Units to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Key Controls to ensure that Operational

�Risk is kept at a level acceptable to the bank

PROFILE:
� Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Risk, Finance or Economics
� Minimum 5 years Banking Experience
� Possess critical thinking and proficient analytical skills
� Fluent in Microsoft Office tools
� Have an excellent team spirit with positive attitude
� Good verbal, communication and report writing skills
� Good observation skills and having an eye for details
� Possess data mining, data analytics and data interpretation skills
� Familiar with Banking regulations, guidelines and international practices like Basel
� Multi-tasking and prioritization skills

7. IT Security Coordinator

Reporting to the Senior Manager – IT Security & Risk, the IT Security Coordinator will provide support in the
implementation of security measures to protect the bank’s Information systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Implement and monitor IT Security systems and elaborate monitoring reports & Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to measure effectiveness of security controls
� Risk assess new business/IT projects and provide recommendations to mitigate identified Information Risk issues
� Risk assess roll-out of new technologies, elaborate technical standards, processes, and monitoring reports
� Monitor Cybersecurity Threat Landscape to keep abreast about new security technologies, attack techniques, security breaches and incidents
� Elaborate Information Security Incident Response procedures to ensure coordinated and well planned response to react in case of cyber-attacks and other security incidents
� Perform appropriate investigations/forensics on security incidents to determine root cause and recommend corrective measures
� Contribute in Security Awareness initiatives

PROFILE:
� At least 5 years in IT Security, or a technical/system administrative position
� Degree in IT/IS from a recognized institution or any other professional qualification acceptable to the bank
� CISSP, CEH, CISM, CISA certification will be an advantage
� Well versed with banking regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures
� Ability to listen, resolve problems, deal with unresolved issues, delays and unexpected events, and the ability to effectively communicate and maintain rapport with supported customers
� Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise business communication for multiple levels (management, technical, user)
� Self-starter: take control & responsibility to make things happen
� Autodidact and ability to quickly adapt to change

8. Recovery Officer

Reporting to the Senior Manager – Recovery, the Recovery Officer will be responsible for recovering past due debts through appropriate and timely legal actions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
� Own a portfolio of Corporate / SME customers experiencing financial stress or distress
� Determine objectives, strategies & take required actions to achieve long lasting turnaround solutions or achieve managed exit/recovery solutions so that the bank realizes the maximum return in the shortest possible time
� Lead detailed negotiations with customers regarding agreement to and implementation of strategy for e.g. settlement proposals, repayment plans
� Monitor customers’ progress by appraising results revealed by their reporting packages, reviewing account conduct, reviewing/ quantifying business and bank risks
� Manage use of professionals, including accountants, turnaround managers, solicitors, insolvency practitioners, obtaining customers’ agreement to their use where applicable, preparing instructions for their appointments and reviewing results on their actions
� Prepare notes/ credit appraisal paper to obtain approval from approving committee where required
� Review documents from Attorney, act as Bank’s representative to swear Affidavits and in Court cases

PROFILE:
� At least 5 years’ experience in a recovery role, preferably in a banking institution
� Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or any other professional qualification acceptable to the Bank
� Well versed with banking regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures
� Strong numerical reasoning ability and analytic skills
� Excellent planning, organization and problem solving skills
� A good knowledge of banking operations
� Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
� Strong leadership skills
� Strong knowledge of MS office tools and banking systems
� Have a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
