if you are applying for French – speaking companies, be prepared to answer questions in french. for eg these are some emails I got when applying for job as Webmaster for a web development company in mauritius:
– Quelle est la fourchette de salaire que vous attendez?
– Si vous êtes sélectionné, après combien de temps pouvez-vous nous rejoindre?
– Est-il possible pour vous de travailler avec l’heure européenne?
– Quelle est votre niveau sur php et mySql ? (Si possible envoyez-nous quelque exemple).

Such companies will conduct interview in French so have a CV prepared in French handy. Polish your employability by speaking fluent french and if possible writing emails/report in French also.
