BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT celebrated the success of more than 100 students through its annual Graduation Ceremony at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute Auditorium on 3rd October 2015.

The President of the BCS talked of the shortage of IT professionals and the importance of IT. He said “Technology is enabling business to change the way they do everything but with so much capability and so much choice, what are the right things to do?  This is where IT graduates come in. A career in IT offers a great deal, apart from being well paid, such as:

  • Work life balance
  • Universally demanded skills for the foreseeable future
  • Creative and design
  • About people  … transforming lives
  • About deep technology
  • About everything”

The President of the Republic talked about the importance of Science, Research and Technology. Her message was mostly towards the young graduates and their career path as professionals in the world of IT.
