Today 14 Sept. 2018 is a public holiday in Mauritius. The hindu community, more specifically the Marathi Speaking hindus in Mauritius celebrate this festival with great joy and fervour.

At home yesterday we prepared rasgullas which are offered to Lord Ganesha.

Just like every year, this year also we go at Spiritual Park, pointe aux lascars where there are prayers and visarjan performed.
