The Director of HRDC, Mr. Raj Auckloo was present at the ceremony. I find the programme interesting, from an IT perspective.

It covers topics such as:
- Oracle Cloud
- Platform as a Service
- Application Development
- Business Analytics
- Chatbot Development
- Mobile Development
and also some Soft Skills like
- Presentation Skills
- Communication Skills
- Working in Teams
- Working in a corporate environment – Do’s and Don’t
What is interesting that the students will be working on a Project that needs to go Live. Very Interesting. We could imagine for eg. a Chatbot, powered by Artificial Intelligence and implemented Live for general public to use. for eg: Government Online Service accesses via Facebook Messenger Chat.
Just Imagine: You need to book an appointment for Learner’s Test and you do same via Chat. Or taking an appointment with National Transport Authority by interacting with the Chatbot.
The Launch of the Programme was done by the Hon. Minister Sawmynaden using a Smartphone and interacting with the ChatBot of Polytechnics called PolyBot. It was cool!
